Anyeonghaseyo

Anyeonghaseyo !
greetings, greetings! good morning, good afternoon, good evening, hello, how are you ? Annyeong.

I didn't get to blog from Seoul. No chance. The kids hog the computer everytime they see one in the room, so here I am, after 2 days home, after getting my sleep clock right and posting the thousand pictures into FB.

The first day in Korea, we basically freeze ourselves to death, visiting the island and mountain with subzero temperature straight off the airport.

DARN IT! COLD!

And the breakfast that awaits us, did not improve our mood. Punya jauh kami breakfast, entah di mana tempat jin bertendang ni, tiada satu perumahan pun. I still don't know the name of this area.
Ini lah tempatnya.

Tiada rupa tempat makan. Macam kawasan perindustrian. Restoran di tingkat 3.

Mi udon. Very healthy (translation : tawar). The technique here is to eat everything with kimchi and other side dish that come along, in this case, pickled radish. Kimchi is hot, very hot and sour and salty.
After the unfulfilling noodle, everyone look around for coffee. Where's the dispenser? None. There's only plain water. Cold plain water for breakfast. Alright...

Our first destination, Nami Island.
Lokasi penggambaran Winter Sonata ini memang cantik.

Ini gambar-gambar masih dalam feri. 6 minit sampai. Tidaklah jauh mana pulau ni.
The guide takes his time explaining the history of this island while we are shivering.
It's minus 4 and there's wind blowing doubling the chill.

You know I can't seem to load single picture. It comes out half blackened like a destroyed film. Do you know what on earth is the matter?  I have to page together several pics like this. This need some time. I'll be back tomorrow, ok.

Ok, continued.

After visiting Nami Island, we stopped for lunch, in the ferry area itself. Look.

Kami duduk bersimpuh di restoran ini.
(see this is what i mean. kenapa ada line gelap di bawah gambar ni. kalau tidak di photoscape ginilah jadinya).
Time ni, kami makan dengan lahap sebab my dear sister membawa serunding udang keringnya yang fames. Berebut-rebut bah.

Setelah kenyang, kami meneruskan perjalanan ke National Park. About 2 hours drive.

Seoraksan National Park

Mukabumi Korea memang mountanious. This isn't the only mountain apparently. Ada banyak lagi national park lain. This is the last leg of the day before we go for dinner and check in to our hotel. He wants to show us the big Budha statue and the nice scenery around for phototaking. Its beautiful actually. But the path was quite slippery.

Gunung di belakang aku ni nampak macam lukisan kan.

Getting to know the snow.

Masa pergi dinner, Helmi jumpa kawan baru.

Sama kasut dorang. Cute betul ini anak, macam apple. Kemana kah dia dengan basikal nya sejuk2 ni. Does he live around here? He doesn't say anything, dia tercengang saja tengok kami semua.

Ini kali, menu kami seafood steamboat. Yes. sup panas-panas.

Campur sekali sayur dan tauhu dengan lauk. Ketam, sotong, kerang. Yum, yum.
Senang lagi makan terus.

Habis sudah cerita hari pertama. Besok lagi sambung, ok.
